A NEW STORY!

how to lose your partner in 30 days.

-this is a weekly story. events occur during the 30 days period but it will be told every weekend instead. well, not exactly every weekend, depends on my schedule. :)
still, this is pure fiction. not a story about certain people whatssoeverr~ this is suppose to be a comedy short story since im trying to track away from my usual cliche story lines but still, as much as i want to make another genre, a sad one must somehow be connected to it. so yeah. the final or first chapter might be a bit depressed but the rest.. i shall try my best to make it funneh~
:DD
wish me luck!
and hope you guys enjoy this one.

PROLOGUE

My name is Edward. You know, Edward as in Edward Cullen. The sparkling, forever young vampire.

Okay that’s a lie. Im not Edward Cullen. If I were, then I wouldn’t be here in this story. I would probably end up in the fifth sequel of twilight called the midnight sun. but my name is Edward. Edward Alexander Cooper.  Apparently being the good looking I am, I have a girlfriend. An amazing one actually. She’s tall, beautiful, understanding, caring and everything nice. With the long strawberry blonde hair, clear face and round eyes, her charms were intensely unbareable. Quoting a Korean song cover by two siblings whose youtube page is peuyeumus , “even if you show your disinterest, guys will flock to you. “ yeah. She’s that kind of girl. The one that guys droll everytime she enters a room or just smile.

And hey, it wasn’t easy to get her in the first place. I had to work my butt out but she’s worth it and i love her. i truly do but some things just cant work out.

not anymore.

“are you going to tell her?” Amanda asked me I her usual hushed voice. both of us were in my studio, discussing the matter of life and death.

I put my hands into my pocket. “no.” I replied.

Sighing, Amanda lowered herself on the black chair near the window and gaze outside. I went to her side and lean on the glass window.

We didn’t talk for a second and somehow, the silence was comforting. At least for a minute or so.

“ I’m gonna leave her and we have done the things we have planned. no backing out now.” I confessed. Making Amanda looked up and met her eyes with mine with such hurtful gaze. Even without any blood relation, she could already feel the pain jane’s going to feel.

“for real?” she questioned, with a hint of cracked voice.
Sighing loudly, I lowered myself on the floor, with my hands around my knees and nod my head. “it’s the best thing for her.”

Again we sat in silence. Both wrapped in our thoughts but I know that she’s crying. Amanda is crying for Jane. For the sister she never had.

Just then, my digital watch beeped, telling me that the time has come.
Believing that it’s the right thing to do, I kneeled closer to Amanda and cupped her face. Exchanging hurtful looks, Amanda sobbed and I gave her a faint smile.

“I’m sorry .” I whispered. Our face were now inches away.

Faintly, i could hear her footsteps coming close quickly and the door slides open. Amanda heard it too and we both know it.

                “game on.”

Amanda shuts her eyes and I did it. I tilt my head and turn it slightly to the left, making it looked like I’m kissing Amanda.
We remained in that certain angle until we heard the door slides close and I move away, giving Amanda some space. Once again her tears fall. This time, as a real friend, I wiped her tears away using my thumb.

                “I really am sorry, Amanda.”
She just shook her head and looked at me. with an intense effort she re-composed herself and said “don’t worry about it.i’ll be fine.” Turning back to the real calm Amanda mode, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail and pulled out a file from her bag.  “so,” she started. “ready to launch the final phase?” she asked with a pained smile.

I nod my head. “you bet.”

And we start talking about it until 3am.
