Aileen stared at the ground, refused to make any eye contact. Aileen decided to remain silent as they both walk to the school's main gate. at a corner however, she stopped their track by pulling lightly on aileen's uniform. aileen stop and look at her, gave out a small smile and tried to leave but 'she' didnt let go.
she sigh softly and pulled aileen into a hug. " but i will miss you the most. i will have my friends but no more that senior who i treated like a sister. the person who always guide me and that person who always look forward for my hugs everyday and the person who supports me." 'she' mumbled it in her hugs but knew that aileen could hear her loud and clear. Beads of crystal clear tears formed behind her lids but 'she' choke em back as she pulled away. clearing her throat, she spoke with no hint of cracked voice. "there will be no one else like you. when you leave, i wont have the sisterly love anymore. and i am sure 100% that i will miss you like crazy but like i said, when the time comes, you have to leave no matter what. i cant do anything to stop that. no matter how much i want you to stay. besides, to be a great architect, you must see the world no?" 'she' paused for a second and added " oh by the way, dont forget to leave me all of your refference book to me. " she chuckled lightly and start walking, leaving aileen behind.
aileen stared at her and smiled to herself before catching up. without uttering a word, they just walk side by side like they always do. the the end of the gate, they both bid goodbye and went their own ways.
watching aileen's figure fades, 'she' whispered to herself.
