the building is old. its paints are halfway peeled and it even have that antique smell as soon as you step inside the place. loud music blare its costumers ears but that the main point of people coming there in the first place. the lights are following to the beats of the house music making few young and naive people go dizzy.
but it is JAE'S first time entering a club. and she seem to love it. her bodyguard however wasnt sharing the same feeling. "jae-shi..can we go now. your father wont be pleased when he hear about his little princess stepping into a place like this." she said, half shouting at jae's ears.
"ohh chillax." jae shout back for the second time. the first was drowned in the music. "papa wouldnt know if you wont tell him. and besides, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!" she exclaim.
"MISS JAE KYUNG! of all the place in SEOUL, KOREA, this is the type of place you called 'AWESOME'?" eun sa questioned but jae ignored her. her attention was pulled at the emcee, standing on the stage. the whole club sudenlly fell silent and instinctively, eun sa reached for her gun at her waist.being careful as ever.
"Okay ladies and gentlemen! its time for our SPECIAL PERFORMANCE!! FIVE WEEKS IN ROW CHAMPION, I PRESENT TO YOU....TEMPO!!!!"
as soon as the name mentioned, the whole club boomed with cheers and claps. even jae and eun sa had to cover their ears in order to protect their ear drums from severe damage.
a chubby looking guy step onto the stage. smiling so wide jae kyung got scared incase his cheeks might tear apart. the chubby guy or as she heard it, TEMPO hold the mic and speak up. his voice is so deep yet sexy. it almost make jae melt in her seat. "okay people settle down...settle down." he said, smiling. his hands moves up and down, his steps moves from right to left and to center stage, trying to calm the crowd. it took 25 solid seconds before the club fell silent again. and yup. jae took the time using her digital swatch watch.
"okay guys. first of all, i would like to thank you all for supporting me till this day. so heres a new music for you lot. ENJOY!"
music started, and unlike earlier, the whole club fell silent. perhaps to really listen to the TEMPO guy. jae cant contain her curiosity so she walked to the bartender. "excuse me mister, who is that guy?" jae asked, eun sa is right behind her.
"his name is TEMPO. he raps." the bartender said simply. "you should listen and enjoy the moment. you wont be able to listen to him afterward." he said, nodding slightly.
jae glanced at the guys standing on the stage. music are leading but the guy are getting ready to play his part.

the song goes on but jae was already dazed. she cant think or even blink her eyes! his voice is so deep and the way he convey the rap. its strong yet soft. it doesnt make sense, yes. jae cant even describe how amazing TEMPO'S rap was. its indescribable.
the song finally ended and EVERYBODY clapped their hands. and cheered too ofcourse. TEMPO bowed and wave his hand a bit before leaving the stage, with his fans still screaming his name.
being jae kyung. the evil, crazy, hyper, happy go lucky. 17 years old girl quickly made up her mind and dash to the back stage trying to locate that TEMPO guy.
"MISS JAE!" her bodyguard shouted and started to run in order to catch up with her boss.
but of course, jae wouldnt stop even when the world is about to end at the moment she made up her mind. jae continue runing through the sea of people before finally found a door labeled "BACK STAGE, DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT PERMISSION."
ignoring the "DO NOT ENTER" part, jae burst open the door. blinding white light ambushed her eyes. jae pulled up her hands to cover her eyes as she slowly adjust the room light. eun sa is nowhere near jae and jae knew that as soon as that lioness found her, she's so gonna be a dead meat.
jae started to walk i quick pace trying to find TEMPO. the backstage seem empty and only a few personnel was seen. jae walked past a dressing rack before she stumbled upon something and fell down flat on her face. or should i say...ALMOST FELL DOWN...if someone didnt catch her.
eyes shut, ready to face the impact but instead, her ears got filled with a familiar voice. "WOAH! easy there lady." the voice said. it was deep yet very appealing. jae open her eyes and saw it. she was so close! she didnt expect his eyes would be 10000x more attractive then his VOICE!
"you.." she stuttered, cant seem to find her vocabulary. she was lost in his eyes..his deep and alluring eyes.
"yes, me." he said, smiling. "may i help you? you seem to be looking for someone.but you know you are not suppose to be here right? you are a visitor no?"
i was looking for you, she wanted to say but luckily manage to stop herself. "yes, but you was awesome just now." she said, quickly changing the topic and he blushed. his right hand went to his hair, shaking it roughly. "thanks. first time coming here?" he asked.
jae nod. "yup!" she said, popping the p. "but i intent to come again after seeing you perform just now! it was really uh-ma-zing!" she exclaim.
TEMPO was about to reply before a SCREAM was heard from the hallway. both jae and TEMPO look back. to jae;s horror, she saw THE LIONESS, EUN SA COMING HER WAY. screaming was never a good sign for eun sa.
"ahhhhh!!!!" a kick right to TEMPO's guts landed perfectly by pilot EUN SA.
"oh my god, TEMPO-shi! " jae kneeled down next to tempo who fall down to his legs caused by EUN SA famous 'kick in the gut'.
"why the hell did you do that eun sa!!!!" jae shouted at her body guard. she then turn to the guy who is lying in pain and said softly. "goshh...are you okay?" do you need to go to the hospital. dont worry. i know it hurts. eun sa's kick hurts as if you got stabbed."
eun sa groaned but a few seconds later TEMPO manage to speak. "no worries. im fine. but damn it hurts." he tried to get up and quickly, jae assisted him.
"OH FOR GOD'S SAKE, MISS JAE. LETS GO! YOU CAUSE ENOUGH TROUBLE ALREADY! AND YOUR PAPA JUST CALLED! HE WANT YOU TO BE HOME IN 30 MINUTES!" eun sa shouted. her voice is so loud until it turned into an echo all the way though the hallway.
"SHUT UP PARK EUN SA!" Jae finally shouted at her body guard. "STOP TELLING ME TO DO THINGS! SHUT UP! YOU'VE HURT MY FRIEND! DONT YOU THINK YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE?! GOSH EUN SA! dont be such a mini cooper!" she said before fanning herself with her hand. jae kyung wasnt the type pf girl who would get angry easily and curse for no reason. but of course everyone have its own level of patients no?
"look miss. i am fine. its no biggie." TEMPO said, trying to calm the tension between the two ladies infront of him. but unfortunately for him. EUN SA wasnt such a patience person.
"OH SHUT UP YOU FATTY ASS.." eun sa spat, not feeling any guilt as she continues. " you are nothing but a lowlife who have nothing to do but to waste time dont useless things like what you did few minutes ago. i bet your parents dont even know you're here." she paused and glare at TEMPO. "stop wasting your time and go study you fat boy. and stop spreading your useless virus to little innocent kids..plus, dont you dare to even think of getting to know jae kyung. you are not 00.001 cm close to her standard. have you mirrored yourself lately?"
Jae got mad. "YAH! WHO ARE YOU TO TALK LIKE THAT!?" she shouted, this time really on top of her lungs. "you shouldnt say that!!!!! apologize NOW!!" jae ordered but of course EUN SA wont listen.
"i wont apologize for the fact. the boy need to know the truth!" she said flatly, as if TEMPO wasnt infront of her anymore. "You young lady really got to go now." she said and start pulling jae's hand.
"I DONT WANT TO GO! LET ME GO! YAH!! I DEMAND YOU TO LET ME GO!!" jae shouted but its no use. eun sa has already drag her to the back exit.
TEMPO didnt even bulge from his standing spot. it really hurts. he got the word fat, its normal. he is. but the rest of eun sa's sentence. it hurt him more then a knife stabbed through his heart. he cant move a muscle. the pain that he heard from that lady called eun sa was more hurtful than her kick. and it doenst help that she said that hash words right in front of a beautiful girl. is he really that low? is he really that useless? is entertaining people that bad?
"fine. if that is what you think of me. i will show it. I WILL PROVE IT THAT WHAT EVER YOU SAID WAS WRONGG!" he finally wake up and shouted to himself.
ever since that day, TEMPO worked his arse off to be successful. to lost his weight and be a professional entertainer. a professional RAPPER.
and he did it. today. ever since the year 2006, TEMPO has gotten famous for his songs and performances in the group, BIGBANG. he no longer use the name TEMPO but changed it to T.O.P.
it was like a symbol to him. to be the top of everything. TO BE ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD!
what about jae kyung and eun sa you asked? huh...the last time TOP checked, JAE got shipped to the states to continue studying while eun sa. HE HAVE NO IDEA. and he certainly not interested to know. but if he wasnt mistaken, EUN SA got fired by jae kyung herself. the same night it all happened.
but still, TOP is grateful at JAE. for is he didint meet her that night, he would be who he is today. and yes. he still remember her scent, her eyes and her face. he can only hope for fate to bring her back to him for a second chance of everything. for a second chance of knowing each other.
but one thing for sure, he, TOP is waiting for her. for JAE KYUNG.
